Atlanta-based Arrow Exterminators announced the acquisition of DC Scientific Pest Control, a company specializing in residential and commercial pest and termite control with offices in Tuscaloosa, Birmingham and Winfield, Ala. Emily Thomas Kendrick, Arrow CEO, said, “Since 1964, DC Scientific Pest Control has been serving the great citizens of Alabama with an extremely high level of service, and their talented team of employees and their expanded line of service offerings makes them a perfect strategic fit for Arrow.” The acquisition will expand Arrow’s footprint to 13 service centers in central and lower Alabama. The three new centers will operate as Stark Exterminators, an Arrow Exterminators brand.
Excel Pest Services, River Edge, N.J., acquired Regent Pest Control, Union, N.J. Richard Pavone formed Regent, servicing Union and Morris Counties and surrounding areas, in 1988. The company provides general pest and rodent control programs to more than 1,000 homes and businesses. The Aust Group represented Regent as the exclusive financial adviser on the transaction.

Orkin acquired Connecticut Pest Elimination of Orange, Conn. Michael and Mary Ann Lipsett formed CT Pest Elimination in 1990 and became the largest privately held pest control operation in the state, the company says. CT Pest Elimination has 60 employees and averages 40 vehicles on the road daily. The Aust Group represented CT Pest Elimination as the exclusive financial adviser on the transaction.
