Truly Nolen Pest Control recently announced the promotion of Melvin “Buddy” Jones to manager of the company’s Moreno Valley (Calif.) service office.
Wil-Kil Pest Control, Sun Prairie, Wis., announced three of its pest control associates earned the Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) certificate from the Entomological Society of America (ESA) Certification Corporation. Service Manager Jeff Daane and Regional Manager Terry Witter at the Sun Prairie location as well as Regional Manager Norm Shonkwiler at the Appleton location received the certification.
Massey Services, Orlando, announced the promotion of John Milton to regional vice president. Milton joined Massey Services in 1999 as a lawn and pest technician.
Joshua Farley joined Douglas Products as vice president of sales for the North American Pest Management division. He will oversee the sales team and is based in Nashville, Tenn. In other news at Douglas, Jeremy Jackson joined as a business development manager to support pest management companies using Vikane and ProFume gas fumigants. He is based in southern Indiana.
Rose Pest Solutions, Troy, Mich., announced the promotion of Andy Murdock to district manager of the company’s Metro North office, where he will oversee Rose’s service area throughout the northern communities of metro Detroit – including Clarkston, Novi, Troy, West Bloomfield and other municipalities in Livingston and Oakland Counties.
James Feston, director of product research at Insects Limited, recently passed his board certified entomologist exam. He began working at the company as a lab intern in 2010 helping test and develop insect traps and novel lures. He started in his current role after graduating from Purdue University with a master of science in entomology in 2015.
Slingshot, a customer engagement platform for pest control companies and other home services providers, named Jon Soldan as president/chief operating officer and Steve Books as the company’s chief technology officer. Trécé, an American manufacturer of pheromone- and kairomone- based insect monitoring and control systems, has appointed two agricultural experts to oversee the company’s sales and business development efforts in two West Coast regions. Entomologist Kevin Cloonan, Ph.D., will serve as the company’s technical representative for California’s southern San Joaquin Valley, and as Trécé’s California Research and Development Representative. Tree fruit specialist and organic apple orchard owner John Klefbeck will serve as technical sales representative, overseeing sales in the Pacific Northwest region.
